I am a huge fan of personal development and the following books have all helped me to get where I am today.
If you are serious about your business, you must work to better yourself every single day. How are we going to better ourselves without an outside influence pushing us out of our comforts zones and into the space where we need to be to grow and become our best selves?
If you’re not willing to invest some time to personal development, you should ask yourself how serious and committed you are to your goals and to your business.
Here is a list of books that have all helped to shape who I am today. Each are unique and helpful in their own ways. If reading isn’t you’re thing, buy the audio book and listen to it while you’re driving, doing chores, in the shower, etc…
So, if you’re serious about growing your business and becoming a well-rounded and fulfilled person, give these books some serious consideration.
Rob Sperry brings a lot of the tried and true methods of successful network marketing to the table in a refreshingly simple way. It is easy to read and even easier to listen to on the audio version. He also shares some “real life” success tips using references to Lord of The Rings, Star Wars and many more of our favorites. I highly recommend this book to anyone serious about growing their business.
Eric Worre is hands down one of the most inspirational authors I’ve encountered to date. He first joined Network Marketing in the 80’s, and though he made a lot of mistakes in the beginning, he overcame them all and in spite of those mistakes—or perhaps, because of them—he is now one of the most successful and well known Network Marketers of our time. At $4.95 for the audio book, it is a steal and you should be running to download yours today!
As the title implies, the language of this book is is a bit unconventional. However, if you don’t mind the occasional—often— “damn” or “shit” then there is a lot to be gained from this book. Romi Neustadt, former Lawyer and current Network Marketing Professional (let’s not forget Millionaire), bluntly explains what exactly you need to do in order to take charge of your own life and reach your full potential. She doesn’t accept excuses, nor does she apologize for it. Highly motivating; I learned a lot of great techniques from this book.
If you are a lover of fiction, then you will love this book. The Go-Giver Leader, third in its series, follows a young professional named Ben who is hired to merge his large and accomplished business with a smaller, well reputable business that has fallen on hard times. Starting out as a shark in the water, Ben meets and becomes influenced by the people of this company who knows the value of being a go-giver. Over the course of a couple weeks, Ben’s eyes are opened to what really matters and his life is changed forever. I truly enjoyed this book and finished it in just two days.
This book is by far the most influential I’ve read thus far. Richard Fenton and Andrea Waltz do an amazing job of guiding the reader to change their perception of the word “No.” It was written over a decade ago, and has remained on the Best Seller’s list for just as long. It’s word should be taken seriously, absorbed, believed and put into action every single day. I recommend this book to all my new consultants and have personally read it many times. Although, there are different versions, I particularly like this one with Ray Higdon’s additional narrative.
A refreshingly easy to read book. Seven-figure earner, Jordan Addler, describes the trials he faced and the lessons he has learned over his Network Marketing career. Jordan was not an instant success, nor did he find success within his first ten years in the industry. His story is so familiar with our own that he is easy to relate to. The message is to never give up and keep learning till you find what works best for you. Beach money means having residual income to where you can go on vacation for a month and still get paid while on vacation. This is the goal. Jordan explains that techniques he used to get there.
Networking superstars, Ray and Jessica Higdon, have shed some light on Social Media Marketing which can often times be overwhelming. The techniques they teach are simple, easy to follow and effective (as the title suggests). Stop scrolling and trolling and start making every post, every interaction work for you and propel your business to the next level.
Brian Carruthers started his career in real estate and after years and years of watching others make massive amounts of money off us his hard work he decided to change his own destiny. That is when he found Network Marketing. Now, he is one of the most successful Network Marketers over the last decade with a team of over 350,000 distributors. This is book is very thorough with chapters that outline every step of the Network Marketing experience.
